Welcome Letter

NATIONAL LEAGUE OF FEMALE VETERANS

Clarence Abercrombie will be joining the League of Female Veterans, Inc (NLFV) as our new Chairman. Mr. Abercrombie brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position.

Mr. Abercrombie founded and chaired a non-profit organization called Educating National Residents about the Interesting Culture of Hispanics or ENRICH. The goal of the organization was to help Pensacola area youth through exposure to dance, culinary, and second language education.

I know all too well that military service comes at a cost. Even if it doesn’t cost one’s life, it can cost one’s youth, one’s innocence, and, unfortunately, one’s family. As a country, we have a responsibility to take care of our veterans when they come home and let them know that we appreciate their service and all that it cost.

Additionally, he currently is a fundraising staff member for Legacy Flight Academy. Legacy Flight Academy’s focus is to expose underprivileged youth to aviation in hopes to inspire them to aspire to career fields within aviation.

As our Chairman, Clarence Abercrombie continues his passion of helping our communities by edifying and empowering our veterans. In his own words:

“I know all too well that military service comes at a cost. Even if it doesn’t cost one’s life, it can cost one’s youth, one’s innocence, and, unfortunately, one’s family. As a country, we have a responsibility to take care of our veterans when they come home and let them know that we appreciate their service and all that it cost.”

We are all looking forward to the fresh ideas and the enthusiasm that Mr. Abercrombie brings to this organization.
